With our absurdly ambitious mission and so many moving parts in the process, Logan (the CEO of Counterfactual Ventures) needs a safe pair of hands to implement strategic vision for the entire organization's ecosystem.

Prior relevant experience
Willingness to accommodate scheduling needs of the CEO
Proficient communication ability across multiple platforms and mediums – ability to produce polished and professional writing for yourself and on behalf of the CEO. Also includes clear communication internally and with important external stakeholders
Thrives in uncertainty – ability to make best guesses and take action despite not having all of the details
Self-management – ability to figure out most effective action autonomously and prioritize for yourself and the CEO

Location – Post COVID, CEO will likely split time between London/EU and SF, as required and depending on how the new world shapes itself. An openness to relocate post COVID is strongly preferred: to London, San Francisco, or a highly desirable EU city (Lisbon, Berlin and Amsterdam are on the list of candidate cities). In the meantime, fully remote arrangements on UK/EU timezones are the default.
Remote work timezone – After attempts to work with teams distributed from West Coast US to Mumbai, we've decided to shift our core operating timezone to align with London (this may change as we select an HQ city post COVID). If currently located far east or west, we can temporarily accommodate partial work-hour overlap (ex. 5am PST start = 1pm GMT), though this wouldn't be a permanent arrangement.
Travel – No travel necessary through COVID. Post-COVID may create opportunities/requirements for significant travel (mostly between London, SF, NY and EU, with Tel Aviv and Singapore likely). However, proportions of travel time, office time and remote time are all negotiable.
Salary – Highly competitive combination of salary and equity incentives with significant room for growth.
Work Trial – The position will begin with a two-week work trial. After which, all of us will discuss how we'd like to move forward.
